Here’s a quick conditioning treadmill workout for you — pick a speed that you feel comfortable jogging at (if you don’t run, then pick a comfortable walking speed). Match the incline to your speed. Run anywhere between :15 to 1:00, hop on the side rails (be careful and make sure you have the safely clip on) or slow the speed down to a slow walk while you rest… rest until you feel ready and go again. i did 8mph and 8% incline for :45 on :45 off (i kept the treadmill going and hopped on and off). If you’re a beginner, try :15 on :45 off and slowly increase from there. If you’re not a fan of the treadmill, you can play around with your resistance on the elliptical, bike, or step mill as well. Increase the resistance and pedal (or step) faster until you need to rest, rest until you can do it again, and do it again! It should be intense enough that you can’t do more than 6-10 sprints. Make sure you are properly warmed up – stretching and foam rolling videos coming soon! And if this all sounds like torture, just move! Go for a walk! Anything is better than nothing!
